About Aaron

Aaron’s love of food began in Oregon, where he grew up fishing streams, crabbing on the coast, and picking fresh vegetables from his grandparents’ garden. At eight years old, he moved to Alaska, where his appreciation for the outdoors, and its opportunity to showcase great food, grew even stronger.

After graduating with honors from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Aaron built his career in top kitchens across Alaska, Arizona, and New Mexico, working under renowned chefs and quickly earning leadership roles. By age 26, he was Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager at River’s Edge Resort, and later, Executive Chef of the award-winning Seven Glaciers in Girdwood. There, he combined fine-dining expertise with a deep knowledge of Alaska’s ingredients, working closely with local farmers and purveyors to create unforgettable culinary experiences.

Today, Aaron brings that same chef-driven excellence to private events. With decades of experience, a passion for Alaska’s flavors, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, his focus is on creating personalized dining experiences whether they be impressive weddings to intimate gatherings, while also enjoying his favorite role yet, being a father.
